Rex Tillerson is our new Secretary of State. I have a few colleagues who are apoplectic that we’ve hired a boy scout to one of the highest positions in government, and are absolutely positively convinced that their children are all going to die of global warming related……well, they weren’t too clear on WHAT they were going to die of, actually, but…..they were going to die of something, they seemed convinced.

Well, because of all the hysteria, I decided to do what I do. Meaning, I drew a graph. Here are our C02 emissions, per capita, since 2000:

Source: US EPA

So, in 2014, we emitted right at 17 metric tons of C02 per person per year. If you run a little forecasting algorithm, you see that we’re on track to drop that down to a little over 15 metric tons by 2020.

So, there you go. A hard metric you can measure the new Administration by.

Assuming we’re all still alive, that is. :-)

Free markets/free minds. Question all narratives. If you think one political party is perfect and the other party is evil, the problem with our politics is you.
