The relaunch and mission

Today, I’m excited to announce that I’m rebranding Eddie Park Leadership to Speak to Move Mountains. Why “Speak to Move Mountains?”

The simple answer is I’m not a very good leader. That might sound strange. Maybe a better way to put it is leadership is not my greatest strength.

Leadership is still a high value and obsession of mine but I’m self-aware enough to admit, I think I’m more naturally gifted in other areas like, communicating.

I’m a very good communicator.

The reasons why I’m a great communicator are:

  • I study the craft
  • I practice the craft &
  • I communicate out of personal breakthrough which comes from a deep well of self-awareness.

I chose the phrase, “Speak to Move Mountains” drawing from the Bible, where it says with a little faith we can tell the mountain to move. I believe anyone has the ability to become a powerful speaker. It takes a little faith, belief, confidence, and conviction. I want to help people discover their own pain and their personal stories and share those stories so others can find hope, safety, and refuge.

Speak to Move Mountains is a publication devoted to inspire others to be bold, vulnerable, and life-changing communicators. The topics and themes will cover:

Speaking — public speaking, communication psychology, storytelling, social media, brain science, semiotics, study of signs and symbols, speech writing, copywriting, writing, basically anything that has to do with communicating in a way that will change people’s lives!

Self-Awareness — emotional intelligence, motivation, empathy, social awareness, self management, relationship IQ, Myers-Briggs, life coaching, johari window, self coaching, ego management, emotional health.

Strategy — vision, mission, planning, tools, assessments, strategic exercises, foresight, forecasting, strategic planning, execution, productivity. (not as related but people still find this helpful from my corporate/stanford training)

Thank you to all who have read and recommended and shared the articles. I’m so grateful for every single person who has let me know that the content has inspired them and helped them become a better person. It’s been a pleasure getting to know many of you who have connected with me privately.
