As you are aware from the previous blogs published from the Eden Team. We are actively working on creating real demand for EDN coins as well as continuous improvements to our tech development to be able to foster the business environment.
From a research regarding the demographics of crypto investors. We have gathered the following information.

From this survey, it is clear that the demographics of crypto are ‘Male dominant young well informed US/EU based gamers!’ It is also fair to say that crypto investors are not really risk averse and enjoy a little risk.
Therefore, it made sense to us to start and test our technology through real-world implementation; blockchain games. We came to conclude that the demographics of crypto and the environment of games were well suited. This would not only create real demand for EDN coin but will also test for real TPS count. The success of handling traffic and transactions on Edenchain platform will naturally entail a real business adoption. We are working hard and haven’t forgotten all the support this project achieved at the start.
The blockchain technology is still at an early stage of development and implementation.
However, we believe in the blockchain technology and taking small but concrete steps in making our idea and vision a reality.
So, Garden of Eden(GoE) can be simply viewed as a DApp platform where crypto aficionados can enter to discover and access DApps running on the Edenchain blockchain. It will also be a place for developers to join to develop/submit their own DApps. We are working on a couple of games and social DApps to be launched on GoE. There will be continuous updates and improvements.
Here are some critical points upon planning and building the GoE platform.

– Provide confidence to our community regarding the direction of EdenChain

– Sense of security
– Quick load (minimum lag time)
– Quick Deposits of EDN
– Quick Withdrawals of EDN
– Transparency
– Fun DApps which provide an incentive to play/participate; gambling feature
Success criteria
– Direct crypto payment for EDN (Eden Exchange)
A vital component for customer adoption. As the acquisition process of alt coins are heavily relied on buying either ETH/BTC then a purchase of altcoins. It would enhance entry if this process can be simplified.
Therefore, exchange of other altcoins to EDN is necessary. This would lower the entry barrier of existing crypto holders in entering Edenchain platform.
– Mass adoption
As the main metric of DApp review and analysis, it is important to gain a stable figure of DAU(Daily Active Users) to our website and DApps. A stable incremental DAU will definitely lead to more transactions and volume of cryptocurrency within. A steady DAU will also provide a snowball effect in gathering more attention and traffic to our site which will provide a good test bed to test Edenchain platform and real TPS count. With the success of gathering traffic and efficient handling of the traffic, we could use this as a strong marketing point to our community and the rest of the blockchain community.
– Friendly User Experience
A friendly user experience will support in gathering DAU. Difficult and inefficient processes of accessing DApps will inevitably lead to the site and DApps being neglected. A simple and transparent layout is a must.
– Marketing channels
The main marketing channel from the get-go would be our website and telegram group chat rooms as well as our blog. Users will be able to share our DApp preview/demo to their friends on their SNS which could provide confidence to new adopters as their friends are using it. The ‘share’ attribute could provide a decent amount of new adopters. We could also try to penetrate other communal sites such as Reddit. We should also look to maximize exposure by utilizing our ambassadors across the continents.
– Check-in feature (DAU)
For future reference. To promote DAU with a check-in feature of users. Provide an incentive for users to visit the site every day.
– Profile build

– Web Analytics
Web analytics could provide useful metrics in analyzing user behavior which in turn could be used as a marketing tool. The information will also provide a means of improving the site which will lead to a better user experience leading GoE to become a popular platform for crypto enthusiasts to enter and dwell upon services provided.
To summarise, we have taken an approach to develop a platform for DApps where EDN can be used, which will result in demand for EDN and will also perform as a test bed to test our technology.
