EdenOS is a fractal democratic governance process for blockchain-powered communities. Fractal governance mimics nature to create a truly decentralized organization that maximizes the power of the individual to effect change in the community while simultaneously minimizing corruption. It will enable blockchain communities to leverage the power of subjective consensus without falling into centralized control by incumbent interests.

With its unique fractal governance structure, EdenOS leverages the wisdom of the crowds to identify the best community representatives in a manner that has as its goal the avoidance of devolving into party politics, popularity contests, or incumbent advantage.

It’s Daniel Larimer’s vision of a new governance model using a unique consensus & governance process inspired by his latest book, More Equal Animals.”

What Exactly is EdenOS?

Eden is a group of liberty-seeking individuals from the EOS ecosystem who are pursuing a more fair and equitable governance model by which they can reach consensus.

Two people working together under a common consensus are more powerful than two people without consensus.

The more people who can cooperate to build a consensus the more powerful everyone becomes. By working together everyone can increase their individual power and independence in the world.

One of the most important ways the individuals of a community can build their independence is to adopt their own currency.

Currency is one-half of most transactions and represents the economic power of the individuals as well as the whole they represent when coordinating their effort. The Eden community has chosen EOS to be its currency and will work to maximize the utilization and adoption of EOS as a currency both within the community and without.

How EdenOS Works

Eden OS is the system that allows the members of Eden to peacefully coordinate, adding and removing members and managing member funds. Eden operates under the principles of true democracy, with voluntary consent and non-violent communication at the center of our governance model.

EdenOS Portal Dev & Announcements

There are a lot of moving parts in this new frontier. As EdenOS positions for funding, some things just cannot wait; things like staffing, the custom architecture, the EdenOS portal, the strategy, outreach & comms.

The EdenOS team has been functioning for several months like a start-up yet producing like an enterprise, as the majority on the team come from that level of expertise and experience. From the inside, it could be likened to the early days of SpaceX or Apple, hardly any sleep, no time for eating, and many laughs keeping the fire roaring as we push out what has never been done before on limited resources and time.

How Can I Learn More & Get Involved in Eden?

While the Eden community may be invite-only, members are encouraged to be proactive in identifying and inviting others who understand and are committed to the Eden governance process, as expressed in “More Equal Animals,” to join the community.

Seeking out other individuals that agree to this consensus process — whom you would stake your personal reputation on — ensuring that there is a strong, engaged, and invested community of people who have studied the book, “More Equal Animals” and fully understand that this new governance process is a more powerful way to life, liberty, property, and justice, a new way to ensure their freedom to have those opinions and self-expression.

The core consensus process is defined by the “Eden Peace Treaty” which documents the common intention of everyone involved. Your involvement can actually make a difference within communities that leverage EdenOS and adhere to the Peace Treaty.
