Since Inauguration Day, the Republican Party, under the rotting banner of Donald Trump, has waged open war against every policy, program, and protection that even pretended to serve regular people. Pick a federal rule that helps consumers, the planet, or the vulnerable, and odds are they’ve either gutted it already or have it in their crosshairs.
I’m not going to rattle off the laundry list here — it’s too long, and frankly, too depressing. Just skim the executive orders. You’ll see what I mean. It’s like a demolition derby, but the cars are our climate, our economy, our kids’ future.
This isn’t just red-meat politics for the base anymore. This is about systematically burning the scaffolding that kept our slow-motion collapse from accelerating into a nosedive.
