Edgecortix, Inc., the company behind the development of the Dynamic Neural Accelerator ®, which is an AI domain specific hardware processor architecture developed specifically for energy-efficient, and runtime reconfigurable machine learning on edge devices, is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to its Advisory Board. The new member is Michael B. Oren, the former Israeli ambassador to United States. He brings multiple decades of experience and wisdom from a highly accomplished career as a statesman, historian, parliamentarian and academic. He joins the existing advisory board members, Daniel Fujii and Norishige Morimoto.

About Michael B. Oren

Historian, statesman, and Israeli leader, Michael Oren served as Israel’s ambassador to the United States, as a Member of Knesset, and as Deputy Minister of Diplomacy in the Prime Minister’s Office. A graduate of Princeton and Columbia, he has taught at Harvard, Yale, and Georgetown. He holds four honorary doctorates and was awarded the Statesman of the Year Medal by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the Dr. Martin Luther King Legacy Prize. His last three books, Six Days of War, Power, Faith, and Fantasy, and Ally, were New York Times bestsellers and won both the Los Angeles Times and Jewish Book of the Year Awards. Formerly the Middle East analyst for CBS and CNN, he has appeared on the Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher shows, 60 Minutes, and the View. Moving to Israel in 1979, he served as a paratrooper in the IDF and participated in several wars, reaching the rank of major. Michael Oren was named by NPR as one of the best college commencement speakers ever, by Politico as one of the fifty most influential thinkers in America, by the Forward as one of the five most influential Jews in America, and by the Jerusalem Post as one of the ten most influential Jews worldwide.
