Introducing in-app Trading
Making it easier to trade your collectibles with Editional
Today we’re introducing native trading to Editional, which lets you propose, accept, and decline trustworthy collectible trades right inside the app!
In fact, trading was already happening ad-hoc, where we’ve seen collectors proposing trades in chat, then sending collectibles to each other. We hope this new feature makes it easier for everyone to participate in trades without the obstacles!
How to make a trade
Getting started is easy! There are many entrypoints to the trade experience, but the easiest is:
- Open the “All Collectibles” views from your profile
- Click the “select” button in the upper right.
- Select the items you’d like to send
- Select your trade partner
- Select the items you’d like to receive from your trading partner
- Click “PROPOSE TRADE”
That’s it! Your trade partner will be notified and if they accept your trade, the collectibles will be exchanged automatically and you will be notified as well.
Keeping track of your trades
You can track your open, completed, and cancelled trades in the new “Open Trades” section of your profile. From here you can also edit the status of your open trades.
