After over 100,000 editions created, it is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the end of support for the Editional app.
As of today, the Editional app will no longer be available for new installations from the app store and new creations will no longer be permitted.
Preserving Your Wallet
Editional collections are secured on the blockchain via a crypto wallet held within the Editional app. Thanks to the decentralized nature of blockchain, this wallet can be exported and moved to a new wallet manager of your choosing so that you can maintain control of your collectibles and ETH.
We encourage (and as of today are prompting) all users to export their private keys as soon as possible. Just tap the gear icon on your profile and click the “Recovery Phrase” button to reveal your 12-word recovery phrase.
Once copied, you can easily move your collection to another wallet provider that supports ERC-721 collectibles, such as:

What happens to my Collectibles?
Your collectible ownership records are stored securely on the blockchain and if you export your wallet as described above, those records will remain under your control.
For now we will continue to host the collectible metadata, including the image content, on our servers while we investigate options for extended storage (please contact us if you represent an organization that would be interested in hosting this content going forwards).
Is this the end for Editional?
Sadly, yes. We are proud to have built the easiest NFT creation experience and the only product to provide NFT creation without cost to our users, but we are unable to continue with the project at this time.
