Adele Announces Rescheduled Vegas Residency Dates
Adele has set new dates for the remainder of her hit “Weekends with Adele” Las Vegas residency after postponing shows earlier this year due to vocal issues.
In a statement posted to social media, the Grammy-winning artist revealed the postponed March dates at Caesars Palace will now take place in late October and throughout November.
“The postponed dates for Weekends With Adele at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace from March have been rescheduled to the below dates later this year.” Adele said. “Fri 25 Oct & Sat 26 Oct. Fri 1 Nov & Sat 2 Nov. Fri 8 Nov & Sat 9 Nov. Fri 15 Nov & Sat 16 Nov. Fri 22 Nov & Sat 23 Nov.”
Back in February, Adele was forced to abruptly cancel her Vegas shows just one day before they were set to begin. In a tearful message to fans at the time, she explained an undisclosed illness had taken a toll on her voice.
Her doctor recommended taking an extended break to allow her vocal cords to fully recover before attempting such a strenuous performing schedule again. The cancellation stunned audiences who had traveled from around the world to see Adele’s critically acclaimed residency.
Now healthy, Adele looks forward to wrapping up the record-breaking run this fall. Ticket holders for the originally planned March dates will be accommodated, and a limited number of new tickets will also be available for general purchase.
