Usher excited die-hard fans in Washington DC by kicking off his long-anticipated Past Present Future Tour. The two evenings at the Capital One Arena on 20–21 August saw the legendary performer delivering hit after hit for the electrifying two hours each night.

The setlist moved the audience, and he also previewed new music from his recent album Coming Home, giving the first looks at tracks “Good Good” and “Risk It All” to much fanfare.

On night two, he brought in special guests from the local music scene to join in the party. Hip hop heavyweight Wale blessed attendees with fire performances of “The Matrimony” and “No Hands”. Powerhouse vocalist Raheem DeVaughn had all in attendance feeling his soulful rendition of “You”. Go-go pioneer Sugar Bear led a segment celebrating the city that was hard to forget with “Da Butt”.

After kicking off the tour in most spectacular fashion, Usher will continue to enthrall audiences throughout North America. Now rescheduled for December, the second Atlanta shows offer another opportunity to see his magic live by diehard fans from his hometown. Afterward, an international leg will follow, kicking off with a special London residency next spring before sweeping across Europe.

Cinemas worldwide will also host screenings of Usher’s concert film USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS this September, providing an immersive look inside his recent Paris show.
