Kesha has founded her own record company called Kesha Records, partnering with the independent label ADA. The new venture will see ADA distribute all of Kesha’s future releases and manage her current music.

This deal marks Kesha’s first time owning her own work after leaving Dr. Luke’s former label Kemosabe Records last year following legal disputes. Speaking recently, Kesha expressed her excitement to control her musical direction and expand her company “in unexpected ways.” She aims to explore technology and find partners aligned with her values of transparency and safety.

Beyond the traditional recording model, Kesha also wants to pioneer innovative approaches and bring more openness to the industry. Her current single “Joyride” is performing well, reaching 50 million streams and the top 10 of dance charts. Fans can expect her new album in 2025 to be released on Kesha Records.

ADA will enable Kesha’s full creative control and ownership. Promotion support comes from Crush Music. Kesha says her name has come to represent integrity, and she wants these qualities upheld for herself and any artists signed to her. “Music can connect us, and I want my work to spread light,” she commented.

Cat Kreidich, President of ADA, stated they are proud to back Kesha as an independent creator while respecting her bold vision and spirit. With platinum singles like “Tik Tok” and over 75 million career sales, Kesha has undeniably impacted pop music worldwide.
