The Problem Statement

Searching against a large database of over a million assets manually by entering barcode or serial number is a time consuming and an error prone process. Modifying data for a particular asset was highly tedious, as the asset had to be first correctly identified. The existing system had no way to deal with concurrent or offline changes.

The Solution

The app enables assets to be searched manually or by barcode scanner. Barcode scanner integration has reduced the time needed to search assets considerably. The large database integrated in the app itself has reduced the need for third party software’s. The app allows the scanner to search assets in offline mode. The data stored in offline mode is synced back to the server when needed.
