Culture Activity

Culture plays a major part in who we are and what makes us differnt from one another. Each person has their own culture and may have multiple cultures. Some things that make up a culture are the food you eat, the clothes you wear, your beliefs, and language. Here is a video to help you understand what culture is and some examples.

Now that you know what culture is, we are going to do an activity to represent each one of us and our culture.

We will be picking a person we feel represents what we look like. You can dress it with the clothes I provide you or you can draw your own clothes. I will provide you with supplies to create your face and hair or you can draw it on. Once you are done making the person look like you, you will write five things on the back that represnt you and your culture. If you want to write more, tell a story, or draw a picture, feel free to. this person represents you. When we are all done, we will share with the class. We will take time at the end of each person to compliment something they shared or say if you can relate to them.

I can’t wait to hear about everybody’s culture!
