We had such a great time collaborating with two exceptional North Carolina educators last summer, that it’s with considerable excitement Lea(R)n announces the second annual Fellowship program!

The Lea(R)n Fellowship is designed to provide active K12 educators the opportunity to engage their fellow educators, thought leaders, and innovators to improve education technology decisions for themselves and schools & districts across the country. Lea(R)n Fellows are experienced educators who believe pedagogy, practice, and outcomes should have more impact on decision-making regarding which education technologies are best for our students and classrooms.

“My summer fellowship with LearnTrials gave me the opportunity to engage in education from another perspective. I was able to use my experience as a teacher and school library media specialist to provide input on this helpful tool for evaluating instructional technology. Through this process I saw the creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration involved with effective website development. The fellowship was a much needed change of pace in a new (and super fun) learning environment.”

-School Library Media Specialist, Underwood GT Magnet Elementary

Lea(R)n Fellows receive a stipend and benefit from flexible schedules, self-directed and collaborative opportunities with our passionate team and partners at Lea(R)n’s very cool HQ Raleigh office.

We are seeking two rock-star educators to join our dedicated team of educators, technologists, and researchers for the summer:

Educator Success Fellow — in collaboration with our Educator Success Team, the Educator Success Fellow will engage educators through web-chats, webinars, PD sessions, and face-to-face interaction to drive successful implementation, adoption, and training of the Lea(R)n Platform to improve education technology decisions in schools & classrooms across NC and the country.

Technology Implementation Fellow — in collaboration with the Vice President of Product Management and Lea(R)n’s collaborative partners, the Technology Implementation Fellow will engage in key educator and stakeholder engagement — including focus groups, surveys, outreach, and data analysis — to understand and improve the alignment, features, and adoption of the Lea(R)n platform to improve education technology decisions in professional learning communities and their school systems.

“When I was granted the opportunity to be a Learn Fellow last summer, it gave me a chance to share with other educators, a new way to determine how we use technology within our classroom. The Fellowship allowed me to use my skills to create, facilitate, and collaborate with other educational professionals. It was such a great experience to work with the wonder team at Lea(R)n.”

-Instructional Coach, Cumberland County Schools
