How can we upgrade old-school training methodologies to engage a generation of digital natives?

In an age dominated by interactive screens, books aren’t dead, but children tend to expect more from them than mere static words and pictures on a page. And Augmented Reality can deliver just that, offering the best of both worlds: The tactile and vibrant experience that comes with a traditional book and the interactivity of digital technologies delivered through a medium that children are increasingly familiar and comfortable with: The tablet or mobile touchscreen.

This is not only becoming pervasive, but it’s inherently affordable and established technology. This article on IDG Connect explores a few interesting examples of how AR is being used to teach children and adults alike.
