EdTechX is delighted to reveal the winners and finalists of the 2022 EdTechX Global All Stars Awards, honouring the startups and scale-ups that are shaping the global EdTech industry.
The winners were announced and celebrated during our Awards Ceremony at the EdTechX Summit on 23rd June 2022.
Determined by our awards sponsors and supporters, applicants were considered across three categories — Startup, Scale-Up and ESG & Impact — and were evaluated on company size, growth, innovation, and efficacy of ESG and impact initiatives. For each category, the winner was selected from a shortlist of 5 finalists.
Congratulations to the 3 winners — ObjectiveEd (US) for the Startup Category, GoStudent (Austria) for the Scale-Up Category, and EvidenceB (France) for the ESG & Impact Category.
Winner of the EdTechX Startup Award
The 2022 EdTechX Startup Award, sponsored by Cooley, is awarded to the education or training company that has shown the most significant innovation and growth over the last year, and with an annual revenue of less than €10M.
ObjectiveEd’s mission is to improve the educational outcomes of students with disabilities. They provide digital curriculum using AI, Interactive Fiction, and Gamification to address the needs of students with disabilities.
The Startup Award runners up for 2022 were Abwaab (Jordan), eKidz.eu (Germany), Lifeed (Italy) and Virtual Internships (UK)
Winner of the EdTechX Scale-Up Award
The 2022 EdTechX Scale-Up Award, sponsored by Google Cloud, is awarded to the education or training company that has shown the most revenue growth momentum over the last 3 years. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have an annual revenue above €10M.
GoStudent is an online tutoring platform. They’re in the business of unlocking every child’s full potential by building the #1 global school. They work with families and students across the world to help improve school grades and bridge education gaps through accessible, innovative 1-to-1 tutoring that’s tailored, flexible and affordable.

Winner of the EdTechX ESG & Impact Award
The EdTechX ESG & Impact Award, supported by EdTechX Holdings and IBIS Capital, is awarded to the education or training company that demonstrated the most meaningful ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies and impact strategies in education and learning.
“Helping teachers to help students” EvidenceB brings together cognitive science and artificial intelligence to provide adaptive learning content and applications for K-12 education. Based on latest research on core knowledge in cognitive science, this curriculum agnostic approach opens a new generation of adaptive learning tools.
