SuperCharger Ventures is a leading accelerator program with a mission to build a strong EdTech ecosystem. Their approach to building this ecosystem is centred around community-driven initiatives, access to experienced and supportive mentors, connections to investors, and a focus on the mental health of their founders.

In this article, we will explore how SuperCharger Ventures is making strides in creating a robust and inclusive EdTech community. With a commitment to supporting innovative startups, SuperCharger Ventures aims to be at the forefront of the EdTech industry and provide startups with the resources they need to succeed. Through their dedication to fostering a supportive environment for founders, SuperCharger Ventures is driving forward a new era of EdTech innovation.

Founded in 2020, SuperCharger Ventures operates globally with offices in London, Singapore, and now Malta.

With a clear focus on education tech startups, SuperCharger Ventures provides a 12-week accelerator program in exchange for equity and investment rights. The program offers startups access to funding, workspace, and a network of investors and mentors. Throughout the program, startups receive intensive support and guidance to help them develop their business ideas and strategies.

“When it comes to supporting startups, SuperCharger Ventures is in a league of its own. We’re truly dedicated to helping startups reach their maximum potential, which is something that sets us apart from other accelerators.” — Janos Barberis, Co-Founder of SuperCharger Ventures.

One of the primary factors that sets SuperCharger Ventures apart from other accelerators is its community-driven approach. This approach has several aspects that contribute to the success of any startup.

For example, SuperCharger’s extensive network of mentors provides startups with guidance and support throughout the program. These mentors are experienced professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including education, technology, and business. They help startups overcome obstacles, fine-tune their business models, and accelerate their growth. This hands-on, community approach makes the program incredibly effective for startups.

One way of continuing their efforts to build a strong EdTech ecosystem is by being a member of the European EdTech Alliance, which is a community of European EdTech thought leaders who are shaping the future of education technology. By being part of this community, SuperCharger Ventures is able to stay on top of industry trends and connect with other leaders in the space.

In addition to their involvement with the alliance, SuperCharger Ventures has created a community called EdTech Female Founders (EFF).

EFF is a network that connects and empowers female entrepreneurs in the EdTech space. This community serves as a platform for female founders to connect with one another, share resources, and support each other’s growth. By creating a space specifically for female founders in EdTech, SuperCharger Ventures is working to promote diversity and inclusion in the industry.

Another way SuperCharger Ventures supports founders is through their unique program called Founders Taboo.

This program encourages entrepreneurs to share their challenges and vulnerabilities in a supportive environment. Founders Taboo creates a sense of trust and transparency within the community, allowing startups to receive valuable feedback and support from their peers. This program is an innovative approach to addressing the mental health needs of entrepreneurs, which is often overlooked in the startup ecosystem.

Finally, SuperCharger Ventures organises various events throughout the year, such as workshops, demo days, and networking events. These events provide startups with the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts. Through these events, SuperCharger Ventures fosters a sense of community and collaboration, which is essential for the success of any startup.

“We’re always at the forefront of the ever-changing EdTech space. We’re constantly seeking new ways to innovate and improve our programs to support the startups we select and drive impact,” — Yiran Qin, Head of Programs at SuperCharger Ventures.

SuperCharger Ventures was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when many EdTech startups felt isolated. As the accelerator transitioned from online to offline, there were more and more questions about how to set up physical spaces and networks.

This is why they have launched their new Malta office and Malta Cohort 1.0.

The launch of Cohort 1.0 is an exciting opportunity for 15 startups who are shaping the future of learning and work. The launch of the Malta office is also a significant milestone for the company, and it will undoubtedly help to expand their reach and impact in the field. Find out more here.

With over 80 startups in their alumni network, SuperCharger Ventures has quickly established itself as a leader in the industry, thanks to its track record of success and solid reputation in the field.

Its portfolio of startups includes some of the most innovative and promising companies in the education technology space. Looking ahead, SuperCharger Ventures is poised to continue its impressive growth trajectory and make an even bigger impact in the years to come.

What’s more, in line with SuperCharger Ventures’ commitment to their mission, they recently made history by releasing the world’s first EdTech MOOC in collaboration with EDHEC business school: “Introduction to EdTech”. This course aims to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to build the future of education. And they also published a book “Crowdsourced Book on Education Technology”.

“We’re actively fostering innovation in the education sector by providing these educational resources.” — Alessandro Di Lullo, Co-Founder of SuperCharger Ventures

In this regard, SuperCharger Ventures has emerged as a leader in the field, having established a proven track record for supporting and scaling up EdTech startups.

The accelerator’s community-driven approach has allowed it to cultivate a diverse network of stakeholders, ranging from educators to investors, all of whom share a common goal of advancing education through technology.

The accelerator’s focus on impact has also been a key factor in its success, as it has helped to ensure that the startups it supports are not only innovative, but also capable of making a meaningful difference in the lives of learners.

“Building a successful EdTech ecosystem is an incredibly complex and multifaceted task, but it’s absolutely necessary for shaping the future of learning and work,” — Tamas Haiman, Co-Founder of SuperCharger Ventures.

Moving forward, it is clear that SuperCharger Ventures will continue to play a vital role in shaping the future of education through technology.

With its extensive experience in the EdTech space, SuperCharger Ventures is not just an accelerator, but also a thought leader, offering valuable resources and insights to entrepreneurs and startups looking to make a difference in the field.

As we look to the future, we can expect SuperCharger Ventures to remain at the forefront of EdTech innovation, driving positive change and advancing the cause of education for generations to come.

SuperCharger Ventures will be exhibiting at the EdTechX Summit at Tobacco Dock, London on 22nd June. To join them and other industry leaders, book your summit tickets here.
