Back in April I wrote, “Investment Apps Will Turn Many “Kids” Into Millionaires — The Compounding Interest Phenomenon 🙌”. Fast forward today, Robinhood’s no fee structure has prompted the big players to drop their fees just to compete.

*Today, Schwab announced intentions to buy TD Ameritrade to “Create a Brokerage Giant”. ie. (Robinhood is kicking everbody’s ass). 😂 Go Robinhood!

Use my link to get the Robinhood App HERE, and we each get a FREE STOCK!

“The Internet has been one of the most revolutionary and disruptive technologies in history, creating a major paradigm shift. It has had a profound impact on the way that consumers listen to music, watch movies, buy and sell products, and communicate. It has also had a hugely beneficial impact on investing, especially for retail investors (you and I).

These days, it is very common to find an online broker offering around $10 to make a common stock trade (already extinct). Prior to the wide availability of discount brokers, full-service brokers were able to exert their control over the market and charge what now seem line exorbitant commission rates.

A “Money Magazine” article from 1992, right as the Internet was just beginning to enter the consumer market, detailed that a full-service broker could charge a 2.5% commission for a stock trade”. — investopedia

Yes, you heard that correctly. It “used to” cost around $10 PER TRADE with most brokerages. But now, because Robinhood has grown enormously, the traditional players need to switch things up just to compete. Investment Apps!!! What can I say? I TOLD YOU SO!?
