You may not know it, but Learnist’s own Farbood Nivi is quite a foodie. If you follow him on Learnist, this comes as no surprise—his boards like How I Make French Press Coffee, 5 TED Talks on the Joys of Eating, My Favorite Way to Roast a Chicken spare no detail when it comes to food.

Farb is excited to be included in one of the most desirable takeaways from this year’s annual South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas—the 2014 SXSW cookbook. Though a cookbook’s not the usual parting gift from such a conference, thanks to a partnership with Cookbook Create, there just might be more tapas going home than t-shirts. And Farb, along with many other notable entrepreneurs, contributed one of his best recipes.

Farb’s not giving away the exact recipe housed in this all-star collection—you’ll have to get the cookbook for that—but he will say that it’s a steak recipe. Also contributing are are Zappos’ founder Tony Tsieh, social entrepreneur and “misfit” A.J. Leon who states he’s making frijoles negros, venture capitalist and Director of MIT Media Labs’ Joi Ito’s recipe for Black Light Cocktails, and Randi Zuckerberg’s “Bald Eagle Cookies.”

The cookbook can be purchased for $22 at the SXSW Online Bookstore or directly at Cookbookcreate.com. If you haven’t tried Cookbook Create yourself, you should. It’s fun and free. You can put in your favorite recipes, share recipes of others, and clip the best of the best and make your own cookbook.

Cookbook Create’s founder, Anna Curran, wanted to bring professional quality cookbooks to the masses. Instead of clipping your grandmother’s heirloom recipes and hand-copying them for family and friends, people can bring their food memories into print themselves.

If you liked that recipe, you can find far more of Farb Nivi’s cooking, of course, on Learnist.
