French Teacher Finds a Way to Organize and Consolidate Resources in the Classroom with Learnist

Franca is a French teacher at a North Carolina public charter high school and has been looking for a website to help organize and consolidate resources in the classroom. Franca reveals that, “Before Learnist, it was difficult to keep resources organized, specifically internet resources. Now, I have everything categorized by apps, web tools, special websites for specific content, and any other category I want to create.”

Franca points out that the web is filled with resources that can help anyone learn anything and she is excited to share what she knows with other teachers and learners. Franca is also excited about using the collaboration feature with her classroom students and other professional educators. Franca mentions that, “Learnist can be a meeting place where people collaborate and communicate through professional learning communities.”

Lastly, Franca is thrilled about Learnist’s technology with the iPad application. “As a foreign language teacher I believe the iPad is a powerful and portable tool students can use to improve their language skills. I use the iPad primarily as a way to re-create a near immersion experience for my students both in and outside of my classroom.”
