A loyalty scheme that launched a thousand savings? Eureka!

The story goes that the Ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes cried “εύρηκα!” (Eureka! — I have found (it)!) after stepping into the bath and, seeing the water level rise, realising that the volume of irregular objects could be measured with precision.
We had a similar moment of joy a few years ago when we started our loyalty scheme, eureka (though, unlike Archimedes, we didn’t jump out of the bath and run into the street naked to share the news). To use another Classical reference, eureka is the scheme that launched a thousand savings.
Since its launch, eureka has helped thousands of schools increase their purchasing power. It’s effective, yet simple: schools earn (at least) one point for every pound they spend, and once a term they receive a eureka rebate to be used as and when they’d like. Combined with our market-leading prices, eureka makes it even easier for schools to save money. But that’s not all.
Recently we had a eureka moment within our eureka scheme: we decided to allow our growing number of non-school customers — be they student, parent, grandparent, or tutor — to nominate a school of their choice, and for every pound they spent, the chosen school received one eureka point from Education Umbrella.
The response to this initiative has been tremendous. School community members across the country have been delighted to be able to make a free, straightforward contribution to their nominated school’s budget.
If your school is already a member, you can now take advantage of this great extention to the scheme — get your community involved!
If not, be sure to join eureka free today to start boosting your school’s purchasing power.
