Recently we were delighted to add Audiopi to our ever growing list of digital resources.

Education Umbrella + Audiopi

Audiopi offers inspiring audio lessons on a range of GCSE and A-level subjects, including English, history and physics. Created by teachers, examiners and academics, the lessons can both supplement classroom learning and work as a great classroom resource.

Take ‘Macbeth’, for example. Like all of Shakespeare’s plays, ‘Macbeth’ was meant to be heard, not read. That’s why Audiopi hired renowned Shakespeare actor Guy Henry to read the part of the eponymous thane, with two experienced teachers offering thoughts, analysis and explanations throughout.

As an Education Umbrella customer, your Audiopi audio lessons will be stored for free in The Education Cloud, or TEC, our very own resource management platform. TEC makes it easy for teachers to store, share and manage their digital resources with their students. Not only do you control who receives the audio lessons and for how long, you can also check who has listened to it. In addition, you’ll see which episode comes next in the series.

We’ll soon have added our very own annotation tools to the Audiopi audio lessons, allowing users to add notes, links and images as they do with our TECbooks.

Try Audiopi today by enjoying a free episode of our most popular titles, Macbeth, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Germany 1919–1945, and GCSE Physics. If you like these lessons, you can download the rest of the series for 99p per podcast.
