Personalized PD June 18 Reflection

Thought the discussion on personalities within the classroom and with our colleagues was really informative. Today we also discussed alot about how we can have students guide their own learning and have them take ownership of their learning. It was really thought provoking on how kids see grades and their wondering why they need to learn all this old stuff and the value it will have on their lives. Also the RSA video on how we are still teaching over the years and how it compares to the rise of ADHD was enlightening. Today left me with a lot to consider about how I can improve my teaching as well as improving the building culture within our schools.
