Hello-hello, my dear friends! There will be sad jokes and sad themes today, but what can I do? The inspiration may be melancholic, but it’s sincere and real.

Disclaimer

I do not hold any individual responsible, as I believe that many people across the world recognize that the current state of globalization is somewhat unjust. Nevertheless, I would like to express my personal thoughts on the matter in my own style.😉

It all started when I told a-great-but-not-personally-acquainted-with-Elon-Musk professor 😆, that not all countries are part of the partner program on Medium. The point is that I would like to attract teachers from all over the world to EduCreate: from Africa, South America, Asia, and so on. However, most countries even have no hypothetical opportunity to earn some money.

That got me thinking, and I went into this deep, contemplative mode because there is a prevailing issue in various applications and platforms where certain countries are given preferential treatment based on their “level of success.”

So, I got some thoughts rushing through my mind. Here we go!

Capitalist countries call the shots

You see, these capitalist countries are like the superstars of the economy, all successful and whatnot. And then there’s the rest of the world, like a hidden gem, quietly sparkling in its own humble corner, content with simply doing its thing. It’s like it is.

So, the rest of the world tends to pay more for certain services and goods compared to those snazzy fortune-forgers. Why? Well, because the capitalist countries churn out these high-value-added goods and services, while the other countries mostly focus on labor-intensive Stuff (very good Stuff, though🥹) with lower value-added.

Hmm… The equipment made by those bougie wealth wizards is super expensive, right? And you know what that means for developing countries?

You are correct — even more expensive!

They’re trying to catch up by working 24/7 and, say, picking up rice using out-of-date German machines. However, the price tags on those fancy metal gears make it a tough game because they're imported to developing countries from highly-developed countries. It means more expenses and a higher final price for developing countries because of logistics, taxes, middlemen, front-and-back men, all kinds of men and women, and other genders I know and don’t know. As a result, there is a higher price for those who sometimes struggle to survive.

Well, well, well… Those countries with money problems have to shell out a fortune for Western defense and fancy technology, while the capitalist countries get it all at a discount, sort of.

It’s fascinating when capitalist countries rant about how much money they have allocated to developing countries. Nobody really says how much was stolen in the process or how many villas were built by corrupt people. But more importantly, why not share the technology if you really want to help? Ah, yes, I understand; then the domination of those big brothers will end.

Putting things in their proper names, capitalist countries have no interest in developing countries becoming developed countries.

It’s a tragic comedy

Oh boy, this whole thing just brings a wave of sadness over me. Let’s take a moment to reflect on how Medium, this seemingly innocent platform, divides countries into haves and have-nots. It’s like they’re saying, “Hey, we only want the countries that can bring in the big bucks! Only big bucks this century, guys!” To be honest, Medium is just an example. In reality, that is just a drop in the bucket.

And you know what? It’s kind of understandable in a twisted way.

Why would Medium bother with marketing campaigns to attract readers and writers from Africa, South America, or practically all of Asia? From their perspective, it’s just business, you know? It’s the same deal with “buymeacoffee,” too. But, hey, stop the press, please! Capitalist countries are lining up, salivating over the Asian market—I mean China. Why? Hmm… because that place is a treasure trove of moolah.

Who needs a treasure map when you’ve got China’s cash-filled chest with over one billion potential customers waiting to be plundered? Yeah, China is welcome, and China understands the why.

Nothing personal, as Westerners like to say.

I understand why there is so much fuss about LGBT people in capitalist countries (not only in the US) because you really don’t have a problem.

You know, there are all kinds of opportunities for economically successful countries to develop, and you have all the opportunities to make money — you’re just bored with your life, right?

I get it — everyone has problems, yeah! But problems are different, aren’t they? Some people have small diamonds in their safebox, and others have nothing to eat.

Yes, everyone’s problems are different…
