Today was the first day of the program and it was nothing short of new learnings for myself. I was introduced to the Silicon Valley mindset and how entrepreneurs there think while building their own enterprise.

The biggest takeaway would be the fact that entrepreneurship and fear do not go hand in hand. An entrepreneur does not shy away from challenges but in fact takes on the challenge as a stepping stone to greater heights. I also learnt that having a “mindflow” is greater than a mindset. A mindset is stagnant and fixed while a “mindflow” does not stagnate and is ever-flowing. This allows an entrepreneur to build further on his/her ideas instead of allowing the idea to go stale. When in doubt, an entrepreneur works on his thoughts instead of hesitating. Setbacks are only learning experiences for the sweet success at the end of the road.

Entrepreneurship consists of a few steps. Staying up late at night pondering about a problem/various problems that there might be in the world, brainstorming for possible solutions and actually coming up with a solution that suits the market’s taste.

Moving forward, within the next few weeks I believe I will have a better sensing of whether I’m suitable for entrepreneurship. It entails long hours , creative and innovative ideas, a ton of hard work and it’s definitely NOT for everyone.
