We are so proud to release our app to the world. We’ve got lots more functionality planned for future releases but what we have now will knock your socks off! This will change, forever, the way parents and schools work together.

Here are our five favourite features that can help parents get closer to their child’s life in class:

  1. Regular updates and images posted to your eduly news feed directly from class

Your child’s teacher will be posting to keep you updated on class-life. Whether it’s activities they undertake, work they do, recognition or guidance they receive, you will see it all. For the first time ever you will be able to share that school experience, talk to your child about what they’ve done and engage with teachers for advice and thanks.

2. Never miss an important appointment, sports day or trip

In a survey we conducted, we found lots of parents missed important events because letters from school got lost or emails got missed in the clutter of busy inboxes. With eduly, all communications from school will come directly through the app, so you will receive a notification and know exactly what is going on.

3. Speak to your child’s teacher at a time that suits you

With eduly’s messaging feature, you can communicate with your child’s teacher any time, as simply as sending a message to a friend on Whatsapp. There is no longer any need to make an inconvenient appointment after school or try to grab the teacher at morning drop off.

4. Push notifications advise you only when relevant content is posted

You won’t miss a thing because unlike some other e-journal apps, you can enable push notifications that will alert you when you have something new to look at. Key to eduly’s technology is that every parent’s feed differs to filter only those posts that are relevant to them and their child.

5. Securely grant access to share your child’s news feed with extended family members

Many families are reliant on the help of other family members. It’s important that they are kept informed on the goings on at school, so we’ve built a way for a parent or primary carer sharing eduly with other important members of the family network. Grandparents, distant relations or travelling parents will love feeling included.
