We’ve come to the end of the road on our Belatrusa 2018 program! Hard to believe we were a group of strangers just 3 months ago, and now we’re bonded by this journey.

As each Edumad prepares for the next chapter — whether that includes extended travel or continued education (or both!) — we have watched them grow into lifelong learners, travelers, and friends. We spent our last week on our favorite beaches soaking up the sun, kayaking, trying out scuba diving, and taking in those epic sunsets one last time.

We’ll be back soon!

Our Week in Film:

Weekly Highlights:

One more magic hour

The entire west coast of Koh Lanta is lined with pristine beaches that we took full advantage of at every time of day — but there’s something extremely special about the magic hour after sunset, and extremely bittersweet on our last evening.

Mangrove Monkeys

The water in the back channels of the island may not be as turquoise as the oceanfront, but we took advantage of a morning “workout” kayaking through the Thung Yee Pheng Mangrove Forest. We met a family of monkeys who hopped right into our kayaks for a snack!

Showtime!

Hats off to the talented locals who provide endless entertainment every night for the beachfront restaurants and bars. Twirling, juggling, and leaping through flames — they make it look easy!

No more newsletters for a while! We hope you enjoyed following along with us over the 12 weeks. If you were kicking yourself after reading every newsletter wishing you’d been here with us, why not join one of our upcoming programs?
