Osloh — EP1

In 2014, I released a 6-track independent instrumental record entitled EP1 under the alias ‘Osloh’.

The EP, assembled over two years in my Adelaide bedroom, is a reflection of an earlier time — a sonic diary of the sounds, people, friends, and places that were an inspiration and influence throughout a formative period of life.

The Road

Moving Music Festival, Adelaide, Australia | January 11, 2014.

In support of the record, I toured independently across Australia, the United States and Iceland, performing interpretations of the below pieces with a well-worn 2011 MacBook and a $30 baritone ukelele salvaged from a music store on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon.

Full band. Adelaide, Australia. September 2014.
Aurora, Providence. 2014
Humble setup in the green room at The Way Station, Brooklyn, New York City. October, 2014.

Shows in Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne & Sydney were followed by small shows in the US — Providence, Brooklyn and Indianapolis, as I made my way on the Amtrak through the mid-west and up the East Coast to Boston.

In October 2014, the project concluded with an intimate show at Iceland University’s Studentakjallarinn in downtown Reykjavik.

Performing at Studentakjallarinn, Reykjavik, Iceland. November 2014.

EP1 is available for free download, here and below, for perpetuity.
