Innovation at work: A Tissue Paper!
OML was actively looking for ways to attract eye-balls and market NH7 Weekender in a cost-effective manner. Since event marketing wasn’t as robust as today, our options were limited — with most of them being unexplored.
In such an environment, I sent across the idea of placing tissue papers across eaterias and canteens across Bombay and Pune.
Not only did the idea work and was loved by everyone at OML, but I was also offered a job at Redbull 2 years from the day I sent it across — purely by reference of ‘the-person-who-had-that-idea’.
