Efficient Frontier To Host Tel-Aviv Blockchain Week’s Bitcoin Hackathon
From Thursday, September 5th at 9 AM until Friday afternoon we’re lending our Tel-Aviv office to Tel-Aviv Blockchain Week’s official hackathon, a coding marathon whose mission is to improve the sovereignty of the cryptocurrency users. The event is led by our friends at the Bitcoin Embassy of Tel-Aviv, who organize the largest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency hackathons in the country.
One week from today our office will be full to the brim with Tel-Aviv’s crypo-savvy hackers, so first things first- we’re taking pains to protect our networks and hard-drives from this swarm, without comprising our 24/7 service. This isn’t simple, but we’re very happy we can host this years event.
Why are we bothering?
In an ecosystem based on open-source software, it’s critically important to support the knowledge and development because it brings valuable ecosystem participants together, while creating developments that truly increases the odds of successes for everyone. Who know’s what important projects will be born this years? ;)
This years’s hacking marathons is under the tagline of sovereignty: peer-to-peer trading, tools for improving privacy, making it easier to run nodes, improving control over one’s funds — anything that strengthens the independent use of cryptocurrency. Whoever hacks together a working POC along these lines is in the running to win cash crypto prizes: Some Bitcoin…
We’re wishing good luck to all the participants and an excellent time!
