Don’t you just hate it when a site starts playing their videos when you’re 10 seconds into reading an article?

Here’s how you can stop it.

Want to mute all browsers from auto-playing sounds in Chrome?

Or just some sites?

Go to:

chrome://settings/content/sound

add a site to Muted or Allow — the pattern is:

[*.]domainHere.com

You can always allow the site to play the sound by right clicking on the tab and choosing Unmute site.
