It has been two years working with two different livestreaming platforms. Although we grew as the biggest channel on Hitbox during 2015 and had the fastest growth on Azubu during 2016 we always felt that our events and products didn’t have quite the reach they deserved.

More importantly, one of the main complaints we had from the community was the fact we did not broadcast on their favoured platform.

The best way to describe the emotion connected with this announcement would be relief. Relief that we are finally back on the platform we started on and that began our esports journey back during 2014.

We’re proud to announce that Efrag have signed a long-term agreement with Twitch as our exclusive livestreaming platform. From now on you will be watching our content through the lens of twitch.tv. Check our various channels over at https://www.twitch.tv/team/efrag.

A word from our new partner

“Since Twitch and many within the esports community are big fans of Efrag, having them on our platform is a perfect fit,” said Maksim Milenković, Partnerships Associate, Nordics. “Given that their team has so much talent and momentum, it will be exciting to watch them grow now that they will have a global spotlight shining on them.”

What will this change?

With our content on Twitch we will now be able to reach a much larger global audience, and with their support we hope to develop and grow the Efrag brand as well as associated events and projects.

Furthermore, with their strong tech support, community team and hard working partner managers they will provide the strong backbone needed to ensure a high quality viewing experience for all of our broadcasts on the platform.

Our blistering growth from 2014 has mostly been internal, with a lot of invaluable industry experience gained, a much larger Efrag family and a solid repertoire with TWC 2016. With Twitch we can now begin to have outward growth, to increase our reach and be able to show the gaming and esports community the quality of our content.

With this announcement, I can confidently say you are surely as excited as we are! You can finally spam Kappa in the chat and it wont come up as Sushi.

It’s going to be a great year!
