Apla’s team participates in the European Investment Bank Blockchain Challenge

During 13–15 June 2018, Apla’s team is participating in The European Investment Bank Blockchain Challenge in Luxembourg. The European Investment Bank (EIB) is the European Union’s lending institution, the world’s largest multilateral borrower and lender.

EIB Blockchain Challenge is a contest aimed at revolutionizing transaction processing using blockchain and process automation technologies. Only teams with proven coding ability for financial sector applications were invited to this hackathon. Apla was named among the small number of teams with the requisite experience.

During the EIB Blockchain Challenge, Apla’s team will create a working blockchain prototype for a given financial instrument using the Apla blockchain platform and present its solution to the jury. Throughout the event, Apla’s team will benefit from the expertise of renowned fintech experts, the EIB team and their main European banking partners.
