CryptoKitties and Eidoo transactions

As you might experience today, your Ethereum transactions are taking longer than usual to get confirmed, and this is because of CryptoKitties, a video game similar to Pokemon card but based on the blockchain.

People are going crazy about this virtual funny little cats, and they are spending over $2 millions to buy these kittens with ETH (the less expensive costs 0.03 ETH, or $12 while I’m writing this article).

Designed by AxiomZen, this game is based on five smart contracts, and people can interact with them through their addresses to buy and sell kittens during auctions.

However, CryptoKitties is depopulating, and it is creating delays on the Ethereum blockchain, so transactions cannot always be executed properly.

Ethereum Pending Queue

In fact, this is the Ethereum Pending Transaction Queue that, as you can see in the chart, is increased very much during last days.

As explained by TechCrunch, in fact:

“Right now about 15% of all Ethereum network traffic is dedicated to the game, making it the most popular smart contract on the network.”

Eidoo has a solution for CryptoKitties

Eidoo offers you a solution to improve the speed of your wallet.

In fact, Eidoo dynamically and automatically corrects the GAS price to adapt it to the state of the network, so that Criptokitties won’t slow down the time of transactions confirmation made with Eidoo.

What’s happening is that you will pay a little more for the Ethereum fee (at this time 50% more than a few days ago).

Please note: we don’t charge any fee for transactions. The only cost you have to pay is the Gas Price to the Ethereum network.
