EtherInc Blockchain Turns One, eInc Protocol to be Made Public

The month of February is special for the team EtherInc, because last year in this very month, the first block of EtherInc blockchain was mined. The idea behind the project was to build a protocol based on which decentralized organizations can be created on the Blockchain. With the support of our community members and partners, we are fortunate to taste success in the early stages itself.

We are proud that our work has made people trust the concept of decentralized organizations. The project has gain acceptance and appreciation of many organizations and experts. There are already 1500+ decentralized organizations created on einc protocol. A total of 2.4+ million blocks mined so far, more than 30 million ETI claimed by ETH holders, and 200k+ transactions done on the mainnet. These impressive numbers tell the story of the success of the project.

We are excited to announce that eInc protocol will be made open source, and it will be publicly available from March 7, 2019 onwards. Anyone can audit, modify, and use it.

So, the obvious question is — Why now, why not earlier?

We didn’t make the code public earlier because there were many competitors out there in the market who were looking to build a similar product. But now, we have reached a stage where the project has many strong supporters as well as live users (we are talking about decentralized organizations already made using the eInc protocol).

To push the project further from this point forward, it is essential to eliminate the negativity attached with the concept of DAO due to the infamous DAO hack. And this is the reason why we are making eInc protocol open source — it will be more auditable now. Since the code was not public earlier, the process of auditing was cumbersome.

With more transparency into the eInc protocol, we hope that more businesses and entrepreneurs will trust us to build their decentralized organizations on our platform. Since anyone can easily audit/modify our code, we hope to see more adoption in the near future!
