If you wondered what kind of variables you can set for a layer, or how spacemacs configured keys to map to a layer’s keymap :
The first one is regarding variables that you may set in your dot spacemacs file in the dot-spacemacs-configuration-layers section.
The second link shows how the keymap is changed for a particular layer.
