Competitive gaming, more commonly known as esports, is already a multibillion dollar global industry. Everybody agrees that the esports global phenomenon is a huge opportunity for brands to connect with the elusive millennial market. In today’s hyper-connected social consumer landscape, esports is an opportunity for brands to get massive engagement and build brand loyalty amongst its fans.

There has been huge growth of the past few years and projections show esports continuing to grow into the future. The market is currently growing 40% year after year and predicted to be worth 1.65bn by 2021.

Brands can still get in get into the esports market at the ground floor. The potential for brands to build a long-term relationship with esports fans and be part of esports future growth should not be overlooked. If brands can be authentic in their approach to advertising and sponsorship, they can do far more to promote their message than by simply putting their logo on something.

Esports are structured around their community of loyal enthusiasts. Brands should understand the needs and wants of this community and tailor their message accordingly. The esports community is incredibly engaged and passionate. Brands need to be part of the community and show that they share the same interest and passion for the game as the fans they are trying to reach.

Two of EIPlatform’s founders, Sergey Nevodnichiy and Mikhail Barashkov come from the world of esports, having founded having founded leading Russian esport teams, Team Empire and Spartak Esports. They are part of the esports community and understand the its importance and how central it is to the esports ecosystem.

With EIPlatform, brands will be able to help esports players, teams and leagues, streamers and influencers become bigger, better and more professional. They will be able to connect and interact with fans directly and help to grow the esports industry at all levels, including grassroot.

EIPlatform will be an authentic way for brands to reach their target audience and build brand equity in the esports sector. By providing value for the esports community, brands will be able to develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with the hard-to-reach esports audience.
