Esports Interactive Platform (EIP) hold a weekly Q&A session to allow current and potential investors, and also potential future users to find out more about EIPlatform and the team behind it.

Last week the Q&A session was held with EIP Oceania Representative Will Lyall. He is a sales and business development expert with several years’ international experience. He can also speak English, French, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

(questions are from various members from the EIP Telegram group. The original Q&A has been edited slightly for readability and flow)

On the EIPlatform Project

Q: Can you tell us how you got into the Eiplatform project?

A: Well, I had been interested in the crypto world for some time, and when I was travelling in Europe I met a lot of interesting people. When I visited Tallinn I met Sergey (Nevodnichiy —EIPlatform CEO & Founder) and Andrew (Spencer —EIPlatform SMM) and they told me about the project. I’m into gaming and esports so this seemed like the perfect match for me.

Q: What do you think about this project and how can it influence the esports market?

A: Good question. I think this is a super exciting project in that it is something that hasn’t really been done before, and there is a real gap in the market. I think that our project’s realization will really shake things up in the esports industry, since it will make things much more efficient.

To be blunt, it will kick out those players in the industry (like marketing companies making huge commissions) who don’t really need to be there. It will put brands in touch with the esports fans with no need for middle men.

Q: I see that you are the official representative in Oceania, what reaction do you get from the people in these countries about the EIPlatform project?

A: there has been a very positive reaction, I also am the rep for Asia, and I find that Chinese and Korean people are very excited about this. In my home country of Australia we have a lot of people who are passionate about gaming and about esports marketing. It’s super exciting to tell people about the project and see their reactions.

I would say that Aussies are excited about the tech aspect. In the Asian markets people are very into gaming and are super keen to make money by investing, since they see a lot of potential. We have already had a lot of investment coming from Korea in particular.

Q: What is the expansion plan in Oceania?

A: We will be attending some conferences there in the next few weeks and talking to some big investors. I am from Australia myself so I am well placed to facilitate this. There are a lot of events here in Sydney coming up which I’m excited about. Malaysia and Singapore are also on the radar for the next month or so.

Q: Could you tell us about the list of the countries, with which you plan to deal with regards to the ICO?

A: Right now we are interested in all countries but particularly in Korea at the moment. For legal reasons we can’t sell tokens in the US. We are also excited about Latin America and the Middle East.

It’s an exciting project to be a part of and it has taken me to places I never expected to visit like Qatar for example.

Q: Will you be in South East Asia this year?

Both I personally and other members of the team are planning to head to South East Asia. There are conferences and meet ups in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok which we are hoping to attend, although I can’t confirm specifics at this stage since things are always changing and we are busy people.

Q: How soon do you plan to get EMI on exchanges after the end of the ICO?

Good question. So we are currently negotiating with multiple exchanges about making our cryptocurrency tradable on their exchanges. It will be tradable right after the ICO is over.

Thoughts on Crypto in General

Q: What problem with money does cryptocurrency solve for you?

A: Hi, I would say that for me cryptocurrency solves the problem of decentralizing my asset portfolio. It makes it much easier to travel and live your live when you just need your phone or your laptop to access your assets or funds and to buy and sell. There is no need for having different bank accounts, or for carrying a briefcase of cash, you can just have your crypto wallet and be able to access it wherever you are.

Q: Why do you fundamentally believe that there is value in this cryptocurrency world?

I think that the value is intrinsic and not simply notional, in the sense that crypto serves a purpose and is useful to decentralize assets, facilitate the movement and the holding of funds without governments and banks getting their hands on things as easily.

About Will

Q: Please tell us about the team and life inside the project.

A: Well it’s a lot of fun. It’s a really cool startup vibe, we go shooting together, smoke cigars, we travel a lot, so far I have got to visit several different countries, including attending the World Cup in Moscow.

Q: Do you plan to stay with the project after the ICO?

A: Yes, for sure. I love the atmosphere and the people I work with. It’s a no-brainer!

Thanks Will, for the detailed and informative Q&A session. These sessions are useful for potential investors and users to get direct answers to their questions about the EIP project and also to meet the EIP Team members.
