BAZ Protocol: Next generation B2B collaboration for FMCG Industry
Ever since I started helping in my family-based grocery store in Singapore for 2 years and given the work I was doing for Microsoft with enterprises for their own business transformation with intelligent applications, it surprised me how broken the process were when dealing with FMCG B2B transactions downstream. Numerous innovation is driving the B2C omnichannel interaction with eCommerce, AI, VR/AR, drones, IOT etc technologies. But in B2B, few were innovating to drive root level businesses be a part of this fourth industrial revolution as most are too focused on upstream needs. Although we had to let go of the grocery store, the learning from that experience became the fuel to all our works in EkkBaz to drive O2O (offline to online) for FMCG downstream business.
And after one year of validating our works across developing and developed countries with our current Intelligent Direct-To-Store Platform to ensure market is ready and as we gear up to the ICO event, I am excited to share more details about our project.
Introducing BAZ Protocol, powered by blockchain, artificial intelligence, social and collaborative technologies to significantly simplify B2B interactions and empower the root level business users anywhere. It’s a decentralized and intelligent network with purpose-built components for FMCG businesses, and will be used to enhance first party solutions like EkkBaz Business and also allow third party to incorporate BAZ components in their solutions.

The internal circulation currency for BAZ Protocol will be EKK. Below is an example of how EKK will be circulating in the Network as per EkkBaz Business. EKK will also give business users access to privileged features in the network through BAZ Store.
Over time, we will enable others businesses, protocols and dApps to seamlessly use the BAZ Protocol to collaborate with FMCG businesses around smart contract, payments etc with analytics and role-based built-in for a smarter B2B ecosystem.
We believe in empowering root level community-based entrepreneurs to prosper, as they will create more job opportunities in their community and a much vibrant and smarter economy for the country. “EKK” translates to “One” in English. Our goal for EkkBaz is to be the one network for FMCG businesses small and large in that country to drive their B2B interaction.
During the EkkBaz ICO, we will be offering an ERC 20 based EKK Tokens for the project. And after BAZ Protocol is ready, we will do a 1-to-1 atomic swap for EKK Token to EKK. More details will be made available in the whitepaper soon. So, stay tune!
