Guide to OG Portals, Portal NFTs, and Portal Nodes

Here’s a brief guide that aims to educate and empower you with information on the OG Portal collection, and how they are connected to the Portal NFTs and Portal Nodes.

For clarity sake on the names:

• OG Portals refer to the 969 collection of gold robot PFPs that just minted at the time of this writing

OG Portals

• Portal NFTs refer to the upcoming 10k collection that will mint at the end of September
• Portal Nodes refer to the hardware devices shipping in Q4, 2022

Basic information

• The OG Portal collection will offer value and utility across the Ekta Ecosystem; you will need to swap your OG Portal at a later date from ETH to EktaChain in order to enjoy it’s perks and utilities
• Holders of an OG Portal are entitled to a Portal NFT at no extra cost when they mint at the end of September
• Portal NFTs activate Portal Nodes, a mini device that acts as an endpoint node for the EktaChain network, thereby improving privacy, censorship resistance, uptime and decentralization of the network; you will need to swap your Portal NFT at a later date from ETH to EktaChain in order to receive and activate your Portal Node
• Once activated by a Portal NFT, users of the Portal Node will be rewarded in $EKTA for their service to the network

Important details

• If you sell your OG Portal before you receive a Portal NFT, the new owner of the OG Portal will hold the rights to receive a Portal NFT and be shipped a Portal Node
• If you hold your OG Portal until you receive a Portal NFT, you are then free to do whatever you want with your OG Portal, including selling it without affecting your ownership of a Portal NFT and rights to a Portal Node
• Portal NFTs give you guaranteed whitelist to Ekta Island NFTs when they are being offered in Q4, 2022
• If you hold multiple Portal NFTs, you will be shipped only one Portal Node by default. If you want more than one, you’ll have a chance to indicate this when you share your shipping information with us sometime in Q4 2022.
