A Mother’s Love

Mother’s love blesses a woman’s heart
It hugs the very fibers of her dance
Switches her mad world into inspiring art
One that is fierce and tender all at once
Switches what’s prime at the sound of a cry
What used to matter is no longer key
Trivial deeds simply vanish from her sight
All she needs is their happiness to see
As tiny arms plumped with folds hug her palm
She cares for the offspring and not herself
Tho sometimes the love can overwhelm
She must not in motherhood lose herself
Neglect of the self could bring out the worst
To be a good mother, love yourself first
