Happiness

The class went around, the discussion was of happiness.

“Lend me your ears class! Answer this question.

How do we know if we’re happy? Where do we get this happiness?”

The morning person says: “Happiness is like a ray of sunshine, you can feel it.

It’ll come and go, and that’s OK.”

The teacher’s pet speaks up: “You have to earn it

It’s a reward, you have to work hard for it.”

The rich girl raises her hand: “You can buy it,

Just buy whatever makes you feel happy. Like a brand new Porsche at a dealer, it’s waiting to be bought.”

The shy kid says: “Happiness is like looking for your car keys, it’ll come find you when it’s ready.”

Then the loudspeakers turned on and said, “School Lockdown in Progress.”

Finally, the professor said: “Hopefully the so-called happiness will find us now,” before locking the door.
