Mine Eyes

It begins with the eye,

The eye that embraces the sky.

The alignments that show our love at night,

Nothing but a smile.

Half of the time the love is too bright

Those sacred circles, and colors, and lines —

I love the meaning of life.

I learn

When I think about love —

A love that’s mine

As it connects with 9,

Nine times anything

Brings me back to mine.

It concludes with my love for peace

My peace of mind,

When I dip in and out

While nature plays that water sound.

I love the chimes

When the wind blows.

While I close my windows.
