Tight like the rubberband in her wrist

Emma clung to hope

Not one time did she give up, she never

Acted as though she were better than anyone, how

Could she when cancer threatened to take her life?

Indeed, she became aware of everything amazing that life had

Offered. Death’s approach had brought gratification to her soul like the ocean brings water

Unto the sand, this change of heart is surely what led to her

Survival.
