ElasticSwap — What’s next
Having watched a lot of projects over the years, this is an update that we didn’t think would need to be written until September at the earliest. Here is a quick refresher on the Roadmap at the time our $TIC token launched on March 16th:
Aside from the on-boarding of additional projects, which will be a never-ending mission of the protocol, we have completed this list and then some… (glances at watch) It’s May.
ElasticSwap’s Conference Push
On the back of the OTC deal we did with Big Brain Holdings and the strategic partnership with ShapeShift, ElasticSwap is planning an aggressive conference schedule. While we are looking to get our name and project out there, perhaps more importantly, we are looking for solid teams and builders who want to innovate on tokenomics and explore elastic supply models.
We always love when frens old and new meet up with us, so let us know where we will overlap and let’s grab a drink! Or join us to help out at the events we will be looking to sponsor. Don’t hesitate to jump in our Discord and volunteer to help with conferences. At a minimum, you will get a ticket to the event with us.
Cross-chain Partners
As ethereum natives, it should come as no surprise that we deployed on Ethereum with $TIC, Ampleforth, and Shapeshift shortly after our Avalanche launch, and have plans to be nimble with every other EVM chain. There are interesting projects on Polygon, Arbitrum, and Fantom Foundation.
LSDan first learned about Nervos at ETH Berlin in 2019 and has been closely following the project since. They are a team of true crypto natives and we want to help bring projects to their chain as well. They understand the optionality that elastic-supply dynamics bring to projects and tokenomics, and therefore we want to be on their chain to help foster that innovation.
We also recently announced a partnership with Connext and Nomad for bridging and cross-chain liquidity solutions. As we are still a project in buidl mode, it is not always easy to identify solid and well-respected partners. Connext and Nomad are exceptions who quickly identified the market opportunity and wanted to help us achieve our cross-chain dream far faster than we could have imagined.
As we will only be incentivizing certain pools at a time, this will also open up the ability for ElasticSwap to quickly migrate and deploy on other EVMs as projects launch, opening up additional opportunities for us.
This is just the beginning. As a team who truly believes in the power of the DeFi community, it has been truly rewarding to see projects with such deep teams rush to support our rollout and seek to help foster emerging innovation in the DeFi world.
