Job Descriptions

Community Manager

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage the task management system.
• Facilitate a close working relationship between community enthusiasts and the team.

Requirements:

• Understands Elastos technology and vision; and has been closely engaged with the Elastos community for at least 2 months.
• Can manage and execute multiple tasks at the same time

Partnership Manager:

Responsibilities:

• Arrange meetings with strategic partners for potential Elastos collaborations.
• Represent Elastos at meetings with potential partners.

Requirements:

• Understands Elastos technology as a community member, has paid close attention to Elastos technology development.
• Preferably has a technical background or technology investment background and can explain Elastos’ technology and development clearly.
• Has 2 years partnership or business development experience in either tech or investment.

Marketer:

Responsibilities:

• Represent Elastos for meetings (mostly online) with related service companies for marketing related work.
• Tracking and managing tasks
• Quality control

Requirements:

• Understands Elastos’ vision and technology as a community member, has paid close attention to Elastos development in all aspects.
• Can explain Elastos’ technology and development clearly (preferably with a technology background).
• Past marketing experience with reputable companies (preferably tech companies).

Evangelist:

Responsibilities:

• Learn from Elastos Core Development Team on all updates on Elastos technologies.
• Attend marketing events to give presentations on Elastos’ technologies.
• Convince new or existing DApp development teams to build their projects on top of Elastos
• Train other developers on Elastos’ technologies
• Write and produce technical training material

Requirements:

• Strong technical background on traditional application technical stack (WebApp, Mobile App, Enterprise solution etc.)
• Strong and fast learning skills to catch up with latest decentralized application technologies.
• Excellent presentation skills in English ( required) and other languages (optional and a plus).
• Good written communication skills. Media production experience is a plus.
• Active player and influencer in the developer community and on social media.
• Frequent traveler.

Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

• Learn from Elastos Core Development Team on all updates on Elastos technologies.
• Write or translate technical documents.
• Write and produce technical training material (blog, video, audio etc).

Requirements:

• Strong technical background on traditional application technical stack (WebApp, MobileApp, Enterprise solution etc.)
• Strong and fast learning skills to catch up with latest decentralized application technologies.
• Excellent written communication skills in English (required) and other languages (optional and a plus). Media production experience a plus.
• Active player and influencer in the developer community and on social media.
• Chinese language is not required but strongly recommended.

DApp Developer

Responsibilities:

• Learn from Elastos Core Team on latest development of DApp technologies
• Build sample demo apps including explanation documents
• Write technical documents, teaching other Dapp developers online or offline
• Involved in Elastos build-in DApp application projects

Requirements:

• Strong technical background on traditional application technical stack (WebApp, Mobile App, Enterprise solution etc.)
• Strong and fast learning skills to catch up with latest decentralized application technologies.
• Hands on coding skill, ability to build high quality DApps
• Good communication skills and teaching skills.

Core Developer

Responsibilities:

• Work with Elastos Core Development Team, build Elastos core components.

Requirements:

• Strong C++ development experience
• Low level OS layer development experience
• Fast learner, interested in decentralized development platforms

Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Learn from Elastos Core Team on latest development of DApp technologies
• Answer technical questions online (Github, Stackoverflow etc)
• Communicate with Elastos Core Development Team for bug tracking.
• Train DApp engineers on how to use the Elastos platform

Requirements:

• Strong technical background
• Patient with users who have technical questions
• Strong communication skills.
• Existing technical support experience would be recommended
