Hong Kong was ceded to Britain after the Opium War. More money is needed to bolster the financial industry. As a consequent, the city is rapidly becoming the de facto of the financial center in Asia.

I was fooled by these appearances when I arrived at Hong Kong airport. The spotless public toilets are a symbolic representation of modern and state-of-the-art. However, after I travel to the capital. My imagination was kindled by the comparison of different area.

After I drill down the itinerary on the internet, I personally interesting in food and living style in Hong Kong. In my opinion, it is imperative that the living condition in Hong Kong must be improved in a foreseeable future. Hong Kong doesn’t have the severe noise and air pollution compare with China. The reality of Hong Kong house price is extremely high. A statistic showed that Hong Kong has the most squillionaire in the world in 2018. So living in Hong Kong becoming more difficult day by day for normal citizens.

Since Hong Kong were colonized by the UK for so long, it had been ruled by a meritocracy system which educated them as an elite. Therefore, they have a strong sense of self.

By and large, the tiny living area- people call it Ant Colony- incapacitates Hong Kong people physically and mentally. They have a dream, they aspire to seize their goal based on their tiny apartment. In terms of a dream, I want to start with Food, which is a reflection of a country.

Dim Sum is the evilest creatures in Hong Kong. Not only does it make me mouth watering but also the price is very competitive.

This set only spent me HK$70, is almost NT$300. Its reasonable price in Hong Kong.
Dim Sum is provided in a different and tasty way. Mango Pomelo sago, custard, and local sandwich.
This award Michelin three stars which means exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.
This was a wonderful and suitable example to prove that purchasing power parity is so notorious around the world. This is the most famous fried chicken store in Taiwan and the fried chicken they sold in Hong Kong was the same price of 80 dollars but in HK$.

In terms of travel, Hong Kong has a highly developed and sophisticated transport network. Over 90% of daily journeys are made on public transport, the highest such percentage in the world.

Metro in Hong Kong is comfortable and fast. Moreover, compared with Taiwan’s ads around the cart Hong Kong broadcast international news in the cart and fewer ads. A lot of metro stations embedded in the building, like small booth but connect thousands of people. The escalator was strikingly surprised me since the speed of the escalator is extremely fast.

Honk Kong is a beautiful and worthwhile city to visit, though, it still has lots problem need to be solved. Hundreds of thousands of people get their hands dirty to make a living. How to eradicate poverty-especially alleviate the gap from rich people or super rich people- is a top priority for a government.

The crux of every country’s economic problems is who will actually care for those people?
