The Peak of Accommodation

There are hundreds of thousands of Motels and Hotels around the world. Each country has various types of style of accommodation. However, every country may have the same idea to generate more profit which is “Management the vacancy.” There are three methods that I want to share with you on how to increase the awareness of your place!

By and large, ‘Locate’ will be the top priority to keep your rooms at the highest rank or be the top occupancy rate. Due to this reason, most hotels will be around the main train station or near public transportation.

Then is the ‘Repute’. Nowadays, people were more rely on their smartphone, internet and ‘comments’. If your accommodation got some bad comments on the internet, people will no longer search on or book your rooms anymore.

Last but not last, ‘Flexibility’. Since hotels have a specific time to check in and out, it sometimes annoys people who travel around the country, for example, hung out last-night, and didn’t have energy to wake up in the morning around 11 a.m. The next day (the standard check out time that hotels will set).

Moreover, people have to anxiously await the check in time which is usually 3 p.m. but what if I am really drowsy and sluggish and desperately need a power nap and have to wait till 3 p.m.?

Some additional and decoration is necessary

Recently, Airbnb launched and grow dramatically. People were more believe in it. It has indeed been used by teenagers, backpackers, etc. Even in Taiwan, owners are more and more willing to rent personal houses or rooms to a stranger and you don’t have to meet him or her in whole day.

On average, the high demand of hotel and motel room has two high peaks, one is in the late night of course, and the other may surprise us, that is during noon. According to research, during break a time in the middle of the day, people will need to meet up with or hang out with their lover or their sugar boy. Even some high ranking supervisors may even pick up their kids and let them play in the hotel. After that, they are going to have another affair again. Due to this demand, I think is about time to combine two different types of business models into a flexible room.

During the day, people will need to have a power nap or hang out with their lover, at this point, each accommodation can supply people to take three hours or more for rest and relief. When it gets close to night time, it can switch to a hotel which can let everyone have a long sweet dream whole night. Moreover, all house-owners may take Airbnb as example to manage their accommodation. People check in and out all by themselves. All they need to do is select when you will check in and out. If they need more time to rest, then they have to pay an additional fee. If the rest hour has already exceeded 8 hours and they still need more time, then it will automatically change to the price at the whole day.

In order to generate the highest peak and demand of living rate, we can use our vacant apartment wisely and creatively. I believe it not only can earn much money but also reduce the price of real estate.
