On the streets outside the RNC

During the RNC in July, Carlos Cruz took to the streets with his cellphone as his camera and Twitter as his messenger to cover protests outside the convention, particularly those of Latinos. He collected his remarkable tweets into a Storify, which shows a vivid spectacle as it unfolded on the streets of downtown Cleveland.
