Updating the Electoral Justice Primer
(Update: 2020–07–06 — I’ve updated this since the weekend. This has evolved from being just a comment on Erik’s original story)
Back in 2016, Erik Moeller published “The Global Fight For Electoral Justice”. It’s a really long piece, and I encourage everyone to read it.
Erik: like I said, I would love to figure out how to republish your 2016 (and 2017) primer on in the Electorama! publication on Medium. I’m assuming you don’t mind given the license you put on it. I suppose now might be a good time for me to just write an update and take credit for your work. (/snark).
For the rest of you that don’t know what Electorama is, it’s a new publication here on Medium: <https://medium.com/electorama>. Actually Electorama is a lot more than that. Electorama.com is the home of the election-methods mailing list (EM-list). The list goes back to 1996, but the electorama.com domain was registered in 2003. The old mailing list has been continuously active since 1996.
